Please print a solid, dark MICR check if it’s refillable. If the printing is solid and perfect, you may refill it yourself.

“This MICR Toner Cartridge contains only MICR Toner and is almost endlessly refillable.

However, MICR Imaging Units have a limited lifespan, as well as other maintenance parts

such as the Fuser, Transfer Roller, Redrive Roller Assembly, Pick Roller, Transfer Roll, Tray Separator Roller Assembly, and more.

You can continue refilling the cartridge and install a new chip for check printing as long as the print quality remains solid and perfect.

If you notice lines or poor printing quality, the check may not be readable by the check reader.

In such cases, please discontinue check printing, purchase a new MICR Imaging Unit, and perform the necessary maintenance.”

If duplicate code numbers are used, error messages will occur and the chip may fail to reset properly.
